Just finished a long weekend of renovations at the new house in Holland. We have begun work on adding a bathroom to the second floor. All the piping is finished, just some more dry walling and installation to take care of.

A couple days ago there were four foot waves in front of the cottage and our boat was lifted off the hoist, swung around on a rope it was tied to and got smashed against the rocks repeatedly. When I arrived I undid the rope and drove it to deeper water as the boat filled with water. The water level was too high for the bilge to empty it. I bailed for a half hour but the water was filling faster then my bailing. I anchored it in the deeper water and abandoned ship to watch it sink as we waited for the tow boat. The tow brought it to the harbor. It is full of holes.
